Led the multi-sector ECHO proposal development process for the project titled “Strengthening Protection, Health, and Resilience of Refugees and host communities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.” The process was led by NRC through the proposal writer, who coordinated the consortium with DRC, IRC, and Humanity and Inclusion.

Led the multi-sector proposal to Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) titled “Multi-sectoral Humanitarian response to displaced and host populations affected by the conflict in Ituri and North Kivu Provinces, DRCongo.”

Coordinated the European Union INTPA proposal development process for the multi-sector project titled “EU Inclusive quality education for the most vulnerable children in Sudan”.

AFD proposal | Central African Republic | €10 million
Led the multi-sector French Development Agency (AFD) Proposal “Appui à la scolarisation des populations vulnérables en Mambéré-Kadéi, République Centrafricaine” for the consortium NRC, Plan International, Humanity and Inclusion, and the local NGO Africa Relief Service.

AECID proposal | Syria | €4.15 million
Led the multi-sector proposal to Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) titled “Integrated multi-sectoral response with a focus on early recovery, improved access to basic services and livelihoods for vulnerable families affected by conflict and displacement in Hama and Aleppo, Syria.”

OTHER PROJECTS
Donor Scoping | Global
Developed the Donor Mapping for the client’s 2022-2025 strategy, including i) the identification of new funding opportunities for the client’s work related to nexus settings and long-term development; ii) identification of donors and funding opportunities for existing and planned initiatives under specified thematic areas, in particular, the investment areas; and ii) recommendations on programme funding and development of a donor engagement plan. Funding opportunities include the identification of new streams of funding and donors, including grants, commercial, global funds, corporations, foundations, and private sector actors.
Programme Advice and Strategy | Sahel
Supported and advised the Sahel countries (Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger) on strategic programming, assessments, and evaluations, including regional and cross-border programmes; Provided quality controls of donor proposals and reports, and coordination with RO, COs, and HO; Conducted regional analysis of trends and provided evidence for advocacy and innovative project ideas; Followed-up on programmatic and implementation issues and provided incorporation of lessons learned and best practices into existing and new programmes; Provided compliance spot-checks and analyses on completeness and quality of data entered in grants, finance, and M&E systems.

Represented the programmes department in the Country Management Group (CMG) discussions.

Led the identification of new funding opportunities and determined the programme strategy for each call; oversaw programme design, proposal and budget development, ensuring quality and compliance; ensured principles of inclusion, do-no-harm, safeguarding, protection and conflict sensitivity are mainstreamed. Oversaw the grant portfolio, ensuring the quality of the activities, and led lesson learnt workshops.

Development of M&E Training | Global
Developed 10 M&E training modules designed for in-person delivery, using a participant-centred approach that aligns with the principles of adult learning. Modules include data use, conducting M&E in hard-to-reach locations and key messages, and a participatory approach to learning. The training package includes comprehensive support material for facilitators (facilitation notes, presentation slides, and manual) and the module design incorporates engaging activities in a CPR (content, practice, review) cycle that maximise learning outcomes.
After Action Review (AAR) | South Sudan
After Action Review (AAR) of the Emergency Rapid Response Mechanism (ERRM) programme in South Sudan, in Juba, Nimule and Longabo.
Review of methodology and development of a facilitation/assessment matrix; interviews with field staff based on the assessment matrix; development of a SWOT analysis of the interventions; facilitation of AAR workshop for all ERRM staff; report on the outcomes of the AAR; and development of a report capturing reflections on the facilitation of the AAR shared at the global level, including lessons learnt and recommendations for the organisation for future AARs.

Training | Writing Skills and Donor Reporting | Afghanistan
Designed, launched and conducted training in general writing skills, donor language and donor reporting in 3 field offices (60 staff).
